We started by importing our own cats.
Petagent.sg grew out of a Maine Coon cattery. Years of bringing our own kittens from Europe taught us the framework cold — so we built a service around carrying it for other owners.
Importing a pedigree cat is not a single transaction. It is a six-month sequence of vaccinations, blood tests, licences, flights and inspections — each with its own deadline, each able to derail the others. We learned that the hard way, on our own animals, one litter at a time.
After enough European imports, the process stopped being frightening and started being routine. Owners who had bought kittens from us began asking us to handle their imports too. From 1 April 2026, that help becomes essential: owners can no longer enter the Changi Airfreight Centre to clear their own pets.
Petagent.sg is operated by MAINECOON CATTERY SG, a partnership registered with ACRA (UEN 53447114E). Our pet shop licence (AVS AS24E00026) was issued on the basis of the Primary Partner's Pet Care Management qualification. All regulated import and transport activities are performed personally by the certified principal. Our application for AVS pet-agent recognition is in progress.
What we stand for
Three things we will not compromise.
Animal welfare first
Every decision — crate size, routing, layovers, quarantine handling — is made for the animal's comfort, not for convenience. If a route is harder on the pet, we say so.
No surprise costs
Our fee is for handling. Third-party costs are passed through at cost and itemised before you commit. You will never find a markup hidden inside a cargo invoice.
Plain English
Schedules, serology windows, GST, IATA crates — we translate the jargon into a clear timeline and a checklist, so you always know what happens next and why.
